Adult Mountain Bike Lessons

Private or small group lessons for adults (18+)

with a certified professional mountain bike coach

The fastest way to become a better rider is to work with a real coach.

You can ride more trails, watch more YouTube videos, and follow faster friends around forever. Or you can spend a few hours with a certified coach who can actually see what you're doing, tell you why it's not working, and give you the tools to fix it for good.

That's what a Dirt Town Adventures lesson is. Lindsay is a PMBIA Level 2 Certified Mountain Bike Coach, a Certified Life Coach, and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with 20+ years of outdoor education experience. She brings all of that to every session: technical expertise, real-time video feedback, and a coaching approach that goes beyond just the physical skills to help you understand and work through the mental side of riding too.

Every lesson is fully customized to you. Your goals, your current ability, your terrain. No generic drills. No one-size-fits-all curriculum. Just focused, personalized coaching that makes a noticeable difference in one session.

What you'll work on

Lessons can cover any skill you want to develop or dial in. Common focus areas include:

body position, braking technique, trail vision, cornering (flat and bermed), tight switchback, technical climbing, technical descending, drops, jumps, wheel lifts, rolldowns, trackstands, bike-body separation, and line choice.

Not sure what to focus on? No problem. Lindsay will assess your riding at the start of the session and help you identify the skills that will make the biggest difference for where you want to go as a rider.

What makes a Dirt Town Adventures lesson different

PMBIA Level 2 certified coaching. Lindsay isn't just an experienced rider who likes teaching. She's formally trained in how people learn to ride bikes, how to break down complex skills into progressions, and how to give feedback that actually sticks.

The mental side is part of the coaching.Fear, hesitation, and self-doubt are some of the biggest obstacles holding riders back on the trail. As a Certified Life Coach, Lindsay is uniquely equipped to help you identify and work through the mental blocks that are keeping you from riding the way you want to ride.

Video feedback that changes everything. Every lesson uses real-time video to capture your body position and mechanics. Seeing yourself ride is one of the fastest ways to understand what to change and make it click.

Sessioning over sightseeing. The goal is skill development, not covering ground. You'll spend the majority of your lesson time on your bike, repeating and refining skills with coaching feedback until they feel natural.

5.0 rating across 25 reviews.Riders consistently say Lindsay made them feel confident, capable, and comfortable on terrain that previously intimidated them. That's the coaching difference.
